Ellis- 11 Months!

I can't believe I'm blogging that Ellis is 11 months, one month short of being 1 YEAR OLD! My goodness, where has the time gone. We celebrated Ellis' 11 month birthday with his very first trip to the local park! :) He had fun and especially loved the wood chips... 

 Ellis has been SUCH a good baby about not putting anything/everything in his mouth, until now. He finds whatever he can on the floor, straight in his mouth... I've pulled out tape, string, and today, wood chips. (The list goes on, if it looks "bite size" he goes for it!)

 Ellis is such a copy cat these days. If we do something (that he can do) he copy's us. It's actually pretty funny-- clapping, laughing, shaking our heads no, screaming, sticking our tongue out, or making a silly sound. It's so fun what he can pick up and learn so fast!

 He continues to be everywhere. He is a super speed crawler and also uses his little push walker to get around quickly. We're working on making left turns with his push walker, but he favors his right handed turns. :) We facetimed with Grammie Annie, Aunty Yoyo and GG and they surprisingly witnessed Ellis' FIRST STEPS live. He took four solid steps all by him self! It was so exciting to see. Since then he's taken a few steps here and there, but still working on being brave and taking chances! It won't be long!

 Ellis man LOVES food. He'll eat anything. He had his first "juice box" at Henry and Lisa's last night, he enjoyed that. His all time favorite food right now is blueberries. He will eat and eat and eat them. He knows the sign language for more and when blueberries are out, that MORE is really going. (More is putting your hands together type motion, his is more of a silent clap, but pretty darn close to the correctly movement/hand placement.)

His favorite word is still- dadadadadadada... We get an "-OM" when he's crying... and we refer to bottles before sleep as "ba-ba-ni-night"--- How do we come up with this silly lingo! haha. Anyways, when he's ready for a bottle and sleep he'll say baba- or ni-ni-ni. 

 His favorite toys right now besides his push walker would have to be: his homemade rattle made by Aunty Yoyo (Juice bottle with raw noodles inside), his push walker, his hockey stick, and his photo book that consists mainly of pictures of mom and dad together (since that's all I really had on hand) and one of Moxy. (He loves Moxy's page)
