Ellis 8 Months!

I can NOT believe that Ellis is 8 months old already!!! WOW. Seems like just yesterday he was born. So crazy to think that he's closer to his 1st birthday than he is to his birthdate! Wow. wow. wow. 

Anywho- We're enjoying a nice week with my Mom, laura's boyfriend Brayden, and Gramps is visiting us for the weekend. 

 Ellis man is ready to crawl, it should be any day here... He gets on all fours, rocks and sometimes even moves his arms! It's only a matter of time before he's into EVERYTHING.

He's loving food. Such a great eater! He can now have pasta's, meats, and so on. We've been pretty leanient on what he eats. The Ninja food processor is amazing! We can just throw in foods we are eating for dinner and blend them up for Ellis. He also is loving the "puffs" for babies. A dissolvable treat, much like a cheerio.  

 He's also moving quite a bit in his walker. We've taken him to the tennis court in his walker and he has wide open hard floor to cruse around on.

 He's standing better and better on his own if he's hanging on to something. He's got strong little legs from his persistent work in his jumper for the last four months.

 Ellis is a HAPPY baby. He can get a little grumpy, but for the most part he's such a happy baby and loves to giggle, smile, copy your facial movements or sounds. He's just so fun.

 He's getting SO big. I look at him and just think, where is my "baby" baby! He looks more and more like a little boy every day. Ugh... goes to fast.

 He is much like his dad when it comes to the enjoyment of sucking on his own tongue. I know it sounds weird, but he sticks his tongue out when he concentrates much like his daddy does when he plays hockey. Ellis has also been busy blowing bubbles and spitting up a mess. Still no teeth in that little guys mouth!

Ellis is our joy every day. He brings a smile to our face and we love him ohhhhh so much!
