Life at the Olson's

Life doesn't slow down. I've reached my half way point of student teaching! Time is really flying by. Ellis continues to grow like a weed. He brings so much joy to our lives.

Ellis loves his tool box! His tool box doesn't love him so much. He's face planted into this thing a couple times leaving minor boo-boo's and some tears.

He's started to get up on all fours, just hasn't started move yet! He does some rocking, but we're waiting patiently for that first move. After that, we're in trouble because Ellis loves to get into EVERYTHING already.

When dad gets a break from school we enjoy some music! 

Last weekend Ellis was introduced to floor hockey. We brought his walker into the garage, strapped on some shoes a friend had given us, and a hockey stick. So sweet... I can just picture these two in a couple years enjoying each others company passing the ball/puck back and forth.

He's always had a great grip and he hung on to that hockey stick for quite awhile!

This weekend we are all catching up on school stuff and enjoying the constant feed of the Olympics. We're getting all ready for some special guests this week!! Mom and Brayden fly into Florida for a week and Gramps will come over and join us for a few days as well!! Excited to see everyone.
