It was a total success! We spent close to two hours at the beach during the late afternoon. Ellis just chilled in the shade, took a little snooze, watched the waves with Mommy, and had a great time. No fussing at all! Our neighbors were going to donate this bouncy chair to good will but asked us first. We jumped on the free, barely used bouncy seat, and today it came into use! (We have a bouncy chair so this one has been just collecting dust.) Now Ellis has his very own beach chair!
Dad was pretty excited to get back to the water too! We loaded up his paddle board and he took it for a spin on the ocean. Normally we paddle board river side, so this was a first for Brent on his own board. The water was perfect today. Although there was a nice breeze, the waters were pretty calm.
There he is! Hoping he doesn't get eaten by sharks! (They are all over out there... scary!! But he didn't see any, just giant jumping fish.)
This is the life! :)
Before loading the board back up for home, I really wanted to get some pictures of Ellis on that giant board! I'm so glad I did, he's such a cutie.
Someday Buddy, just keep it on the sand for now! ;-)
Successful trip to the beach! Fun, fun time for everyone!!

looks awesome - wish we were having that kind of weather! we spent Saturday out in the cold (50 degrees), wind and rain at a football game!
ellis looks like he's definitely going to be a surfer dude! :) I love the way he sits in that chair - all relaxed with his hands behind his head! that's how Lincoln sleeps!!
