We had a super friendly nurse who was able to do our ultra sound that showed that my cervix was "beautiful" (phew! No stitch) and that Baby Ole was:
1. Still a boy
2. Wopping 1 lb. 3 oz.
and
3. ALL LOOKED GOOD~!
The doctor ,who actually watches the ultra sound from another room, joined us at the end and was very happy with how everything looked. This was a great feeling because after our last visit to him he made us a little worried with this spot on the heart. He just didn't seem very positive all was GOOD. This time we left feeling confident, happy and having answers to prayers. All is GOOD! :)
The nurse we had was great! She was so down to earth, gave us honest and probably more information than she should as a nurse. (However she did warn us that "she never said that.") We loved having an insiders view and comments to checking out baby! She did show us how they would find a clef lip and Baby Ole doesn't have that. She also said, "Want to see something cool?" -- um YEAH!!! She put the wand in one spot that showed the babies face. She said just watch this black spot, this is the eye, if the baby moves his eye you will see a disc like shape move directions.... AND WE DID! It was crazy!!!
Lastly, we left with another handful of pictures of Baby Ole! It blows my mind how this tiny little human is growing inside me. Moving his limbs and eyes, growing bigger and stronger every single day!
New due date for Baby Ole: June 19th, 2013

yay! so happy to hear that everything is GOOD!! at our ultrasund last week they told us too that they saw a "spot" on the heart, but reassured us numerous times that it is completely normal and nothing to be concerned about at all.
now we're just two days apart - theoretically! :)
wow- what a good appointment... so exciting. It is amazing what a difference in a doctor/nurse can make as well... Love the taggies. Always wanted to try making them. Keep on sewing!
