Baby Olson

On Wednesday we traveled to Fargo to meet with the maternal fetal medicine doctor in Fargo that we saw with Coco. We are just approaching the "critical" stages to be watching for the heart block. We got an ultra sound, saw that baby is doing well, growing on schedule, and so far the heart looks good. We also found out we will be having a baby GIRL!
The doctor sent us home with a fetal heart monitor to track baby's heart beat twice a day. Really a lot of pressure for me, but now being three days into it, we are getting pretty good at it. They wanted us to come to Fargo once a week (for potentially 10 weeks in a row or longer) We asked if there was any way we could try to have some ultra sounds done in Baudette or even Bemidji to make it a shorter trip than Fargo. After some discussion he suggested (as long as the other ultra sounds show what he needs to see and our heart monitoring at home is going well) that we will be seen by him in Fargo once a month and each week in between we will be seen in Baudette. We are so so thankful for this news and pray that the ultra sound tech will be able to get the images the doctor in Fargo needs so we can cut down on a LOT of travel time.
Thank you for your continued prayers for us. We really appreciate them. :)
