Wrapping up Florida!

As I open the blog after weeks of not touching it, I'm ashamed that I haven't undated in a month! Including missing Ellis' one year update!! So- let me take this time to catch up in a couple posts.

In the last month a LOT has changed.
1. We packed up our house and lived in an empty house for the last week we lived in Florida.
2. Brent separated from the Air Force and we headed back to MN.
3. We've been working non-stop on the plans we have of building a home this summer.
4. Ellis man turned one!
5. Brent wore his uniform for the last time.
6. We said good bye to a lot of wonderful friends we made in Florida.
7. We sold our Jeep
8. We spent our last weekend of Florida at the beach celebrating Ellis' first birthday!

Here is our sweet little Jeep. Brent loved this little jeep for going to the beach or back and forth to work. (Thankfully we only lived about three miles away, not sure it could make a long commute.) Believe it or not, the person we actually bought this Jeep from bought it back and for more! Brent had put some work into this jeep and the pre-owner respected that and paid what we put into it! What a huge relief because this jeep had some quarks. Like... you started it with a screw driver! ;) I think if this owner wouldn't have bought it back, we wouldn't have an easy time selling it for the amount we bought it for!

The military came in and boxed up all of our things and put them on the truck the next day. We lived in an empty house for about a week. Pack N Play, air mattress, camping chairs, TV/Netflix and a lot of take out! :)
Our things were then shipped off to storage in East Grand Forks until we are ready for it to be delivered to our new house!!!!
Spent the last weekend at the beach for Ellis Man's first birthday! I'll update another post of his birthday pictures! He loves frosting!
Our last day we were in military hotel, but I was so pleasantly surprised with the set up there. Full condo basically and right on the beach. We wondered, why didn't we stay here longer instead of our empty house! :) But this was Dad's last day in uniform!!!
Can't believe that Five year commitment and 9 years in a uniform is finally over!
