Ellis 9 months!

I can't believe that our little guy is 9 months! Wow. The last ten weeks have flown by. I feel like he's a little boy now and not so much a baby. Before Auntie Yo-Yo headed out we had her snap a few pictures for us to document our lives in Florida. 

Ellis is into EVERYTHING. You can not keep your eyes off of him even for a second. No longer are the days that we can lay Ellis on the bed while we do anything. Nor, put him in his bassinet (in our bathroom) while we shower. He is pulling himself up on everything and scooting all around. 

 His favorite toy: Mox. Mox and Ellis have an interesting relationship. Mox will bring Ellis his (Mox's) toys and lay down right next to Ellis. Almost as if he wants to share. When Ellis goes for whatever it is Mox brought him, he growls... (not a mean growl, more of a don't touch this) So we have to keep Mox and Ellis away from each other if we aren't next to him.. Other than Mox he has this play mat that puzzles together and he goes around and pulls off EVERY edge piece and then waves it around like a sword. He is so entertaining.

 Ellis eats pretty much anything these days. We are cautious but he is curious so we try a lot of things. He's still a big fan of sweet potatoes and has had a little bit of yogurt. We're thinking he may have a little intolerance (runs in my family) to milk. So we have slowed down on the dairy.

 Ellis is currently 21 pounds and growing. He's super long. I'm not sure to be exact because we haven't had our 9 month appointment, but very long. Lengthy guy he is!

 He's a talker. A lot of da-da-da-da's and ahh-gla's. He's just recently started to make a hissing sssss sound and ba-ba-ba. We are still working on Momma!!!! Soon.

 He is our smile every day. Such a sweet baby he is. For the most part he's so well behaved and really only fusses if he's uncomfortable, hungry, tired or needs a diaper. He does have a few moments where he will scream in anger/frustration, but that is rare.

 Ohh our sweet baby boy continues to grow in so many ways... it's so fun to watch and goes by to quickly. Love you Ellis Man.
