I would say for the 7 hours we were there, we accomplished a lot! Ellis was SUCH a trooper again. (How did I get so lucky???) .. Hold on... he was amazing until the last 30 minutes of the drive when he SCREAMED. We finally pulled off on county road 19 (About two miles from Baudette) and took him out of his carseat. Then he was happy. After a few attempts of putting him back into his carseat and him screaming, we went to our secret weapon. Facetime with Dad. Ellis sat and smiled, coo'ed, and laughed with Brent the remaining 15 minutes it took to get home! Complete 180 degree flip in attitude for that little man. All he needed was his daddy. We sure do miss him!!!
Laura L-O-V-E's his Auntie Laura. He's always looking for her and has his eyes on her all the time. It's so cute! She can also make him smile smile smile. (Melt my heart) We Skype/FaceTime with Laura daily when we are in FL and she loves and misses Ellis each time! When we showed up at home the other night, she walked in, said hello to Ellis and just cried tears of joy. If you know my sister, she doesn't cry about "mushy stuff" but she did. She's loves Ellis so much and is soo happy he is finally here. I can't wait for her to be our live in Nanny January-March! Her and Ellis will be just fine together.
This "Santa" work is hard!!!
Ellis' first Christmas!! I'm so excited.
Such a fun day with the girls! :) It's so great to spend this quality time together.
This cup says it all... my little traveler. Ellis has put A LOT of miles on in the last week!!
