Olson's, Reeser's, and Block's OH MY!

We were so lucky to spend the last couple days with Derek (Brent's brother)his wife Jill, Christa (Brent's cousin) her husband Hal, and Darby (Brent's cousin) and his wife Deanna!! They had spent a few days together in Jamacia on vacation from the -40 degree weather in MN, and on their way home they stopped in Satellite Beach for a few days to see us and the Sardinia clan. It was soo wonderful having them here. They got in late- I mean LATE Wednesday night (2:30 am after flight delays) but that didn't stop us from keeping busy the two full days we had them all here!!

Thursday, Henry was able to set up a fishing trip for all the boys through a friend he has. This was also Brent's first time fishing with the Sardinia's on the ocean. They did well catching fish and thankfully it wasn't to "wild" with the wind out there. Maybe a little cool.
With the boys out to play, that wasn't going to stop us girls! We all gathered for lunch on the water and then headed to downtown Melbourne to hit the shops. We came across this ceramic pottery place and decided we could all try out our creativity for a couple hours. I personally LOVE this stuff, and I think everyone enjoyed doing it as well. The company was the best of all!

Our finished products... Fired TODAY- Ready Tuesday and then mailed to the MN girls ASAP!

Thursday night we all gathered back at Erica and Andy's for a dinner prepared by Andy for us girls and the guys who were out fishing. (Andy had to work so he couldn't join the fishing group)

Friday we decided to hit up the local Brevard Zoo. One of the high lights for me anyways was watching everyone feed the birds. I'm kind of nervous around animals that move quickly so I wasn't going to be buying any food to FEED to them, but some of the group did and it was a site to watch as they walked into the bird cage. Birds started to SWARM them and land all over them. It was crazy! This picture makes me laugh because 1. Derek is covered in birds... and 2. A bird is sitting on Christa's head.
My favorite part of any zoo are the giraffes. They are so amazing to me, so beautiful! This was a little baby giraffe, who really wasn't too little! :) When we first arrived to the station there weren't any in site. Over time 6 were in site and this guy came over for some snacks that people could feed them. Very neat.
After lunch we enjoyed a nice lunch together at Chilli's and then went back to the beach side to prepare for our Beach Bon Fire! :)

It was SUCH a beautiful night to have a fire.

Missing a few in this picture but what a relaxing time we had sharing stories, laughs, and S'mores together!

One big discovery of the night was that Iphone 4S and Iphone 5 can take panoramic pictures! Like this one below. It's pretty cool to be able to do that and fun to be able to capture a picture of us all around the fire. I laugh because Deanna mentioned that we were at a CAMP FIRE, but look how many people are still sitting on their phones! :) This picture defines her comment perfectly! Even though it wasn't like this a majority of the time, it was still a pretty funny observation.
Overall, we had a quick but GREAT time with the Olson's, Reeser's, and Block's! It was so nice to have family here and be able to do some fun things together. Off they left this morning at 3am to the airport for their 6am flight! Thanks for making us part of your vacation/trip guys! Love you all!! :)

We hear from the vacationers that they all had a blast with you guys and the Sardina's! One question. Did Brent go into the bird cage? As a kid he was nuts about birds. As a toddler he would take off across the yard chasing robins. One time he laid in the yard for hours trying to get seagulls to land on him and eat bread off his body. He even had me film it. Don't think they came. :>) Thanks for all the pictures.
