Bears Good Luck Charm

So during the hockey season, Ellis and I established our "spot" at the rink. It's on the opposite side of the fans because I don't have to worry about Ellis falling down the steep steps, its the best place in the rink for taking my sports pictures and its where all the players pass to get from the ice to their locker rooms. So naturally, as we stood out of the way of the players Ellis started to give the player "knuckles" as they passed by. All of the players would give him knuckles and it because a routine (when we made it to the game),The boys hockey team named Ellis their good luck charm. After their final home game the Bears, and specifically the senior goalie Cody Nelson had put together a little gift for Ellis. We met up with Cody so Ellis could get his gift which was a signed Bears poster and from Cody a signed game puck. Ellis was very excited and my heart was full seeing a senior guy in high school do this act of kindness to Ellis. So sweet.
