We didn't feel nearly the same amount of damage as the Northeast is from Hurricane Sandy, but we were left with a ton of beautiful shells on the beach!There are about 8 beaches (or one long beach) along the base. There are never ANY shells on this beach.... Then after Sandy, look at all these shells!
We took a walk on the beach Saturday and was sure to bring our basket. We found SO many great shells and ones that weren't all broken too!
Look at those beautiful shells all cleaned off! :) Aren't they amazing! And so big too!!
Shells are so beautiful, so different, and so unique. It was so fun treasure hunting for all of these shells among the million that were out there. We probably walked about a mile or two searching for them.
