We are back from camping a day early! (Mutual agreement!) We had a wonderful time the 24 hours that we were camping. We arrived in Georgetown Maine about 11am Saturday. We got to our camp site with our friends the walkers. We had a beautiful view of the ocean. However when we got there the tide was out and gave us like a mile of mud tops. After we got the tent all set up we took the dogs down to the mud tops to run around and play! They had a blast and got so dirty!! Mox swam for his first time!!! (Tail wagging the whole time) The camp ground was having a mud flat golf tourney with five legit holes. neat. People also go out and clam when the tide is low. We found some clams but didn't take any because we needed to have a clam license...haha. We enjoyed a great camp fire built by Brent. We had hot dogs, smores, popcorn and gummy worms! We THOUGHT we had electricity to our site but we didn't which meant we would be sleeping on the ground. After one night of sleeping on the ground the next morning we decided we'd head back to our own bed for Sunday night instead of camping. The whole camping experience was great! We had fun and both agreed that if we did it again it would be most fun for one night instead of two. After we packed up from camping we headed into Freeport Maine to do some outlet shopping. LLBEAN was found and created in this city so there is a huge LLBean store! We found a few good prices and then hit the road back to Boston. It was such a nice feeling to get home, unpack and relax. We were blessed with beautiful weather while we were camping, the perfect camping weather for sure. It was so fun for us, mox and to have our friends the walkers along with their two dogs!

What a beautiful place to camp! Having a good bed/cot really makes or breaks the experience. We're good for up to 4 nights with our cots/pads...but wouldn't be if we were on the ground!
Looks like you had fun. Realized after we sent the tent, that we never have had instructions on how to set the thing up. Hope it went smoothly for you.
