Saturday the Lake of the Woods Volleyball girls played BGMR. BGMR had never gotten as far as they were EVER and had beaten out Northern Freeze on Tuesday night in five games. We were prepared for them to be on fire and really motivated to get to state for the first time. Our girls showed up to play and beat them in THREE!!! It was so so so exciting! I personally was jumping out of my seat for many points! The girls played great and we are so excited for them and there state adventure this week!
The girls will leave on Wednesday morning after a Pep-fest and a send off! They have a banquet in the cities for all the teams in the tournament. Thursday they will play Deer River at 3pm. (KQ92 will be covering all LOW games)Deer River is ranked number three in the tournament. Our girls have played them before and it was pretty equal. So there is a chance for LOW to beat them! :)
I'm almost positive win or lose on Thursday the girls will play again on Friday at 3pm also. If they win one of the two games or both they will play on Saturday. If they happen to lose both games they will be done on Friday. However, that is not an option!! :) We are going ALL the way!!
