Fishing Trip to Canada

Today we had such a fun day trip up to Canada to do some fishing. My grandparents have rented a cabin on one of the many islands on Lake of the Woods. So we got picked up by G&G this morning and took the hour drive up to where their boat is being kept. We loaded the boat and headed to the island. When we got there it was just us! The other cabin renters (there are about six cabins) were not there. Island to ourselves!
We headed out fishing and it wasn't very warm, but the sun felt good and the wind wasn't to bad. We all had the pressure on to catch a fish because that is what we were eating for lunch.... what we caught! In the end we all caught one fish. Perfect- we headed into shore and Brent prepared the fish and Grandma cooked them up and we enjoyed a very nice dinner together.


First Catch of the Day goes too..... ME! :-) But I don't touch walleye so brent held it for the picture. Love him!
